Lilia Weisfeldt
As the owner of Ballroom in Boston, Lilia Weisfeldt is a dance instructor, competitor, and businesswoman extraordinaire. Her love for dancing started when she was a student at Wellesley College, where she was invited to join the prestigious MIT Ballroom Dance Team. Competing on the team eventually led to a teaching gig—which soon grew into a full-blown teaching career. Working with beginners quickly became Lilia’s joie de vivre. Since 2006, she has been helping adults overcome their doubts about the dancefloor, coaching them to success with social dancing, wedding dances, and in competitions.
Lilia has extensive competitive experience in the styles of rhythm, latin, smooth, and theater arts, and currently competes professionally in country dancing as well (yee-haw!). When she’s not teaching or dancing, Lilia is also an active volunteer with the Rotary Club of Watertown, the Watertown Business Coalition, Boston Wedding Group, and The Philanthropy Connection. Lilia also loves spending time with her wonderful husband, Steve, and their dog, Layla.
